Omenaa Mensah is the founder of both OmenaArt Foundation and Omenaa Foundation, organizations dedicated to fostering dialogue across cultures and continents. She initiated the TOP CHARITY Gala, one of Europe’s most significant philanthropic events that bridges art and social impact. Founded by Omenaa Mensah, OmenaArt Foundation develops ambitious and unconventional artistic projects in Poland and internationally. The Foundation coordinates the TOP CHARITY Gala, one of Europe’s leading philanthropic initiatives. Funds raised through the initiative have supported the charitable programmes of Omenaa Foundation, Rafał Brzoska Foundation and the Philanthropic Consortium, as well as OmenaArt Foundation’s own initiatives dedicated to artists, creative development and cultural institutions.
At the heart of the Foundation’s mission is the creation of meaningful intercultural dialogue, support for artists and the promotion of contemporary art from Eastern Europe and Africa. Particular emphasis is placed on artistic practices that engage with public space, social contexts and the exchange of perspectives between different cultures.
Alongside its exhibition and artistic programmes, OAF is actively involved in the revitalisation of historic architecture, conservation projects and educational initiatives, bringing contemporary artistic practice together with a broader commitment to the protection of cultural heritage.
