Omenaa Mensah is the founder of both OmenaArt Foundation and Omenaa Foundation, organizations dedicated to fostering dialogue across cultures and continents. She initiated the TOP CHARITY Auction, one of Europe’s most significant philanthropic events that bridges art and social impact. Omenaa is the first Polish member of the Africa Acquisitions Committee at Tate, an influential body contributing to Tate’s international African art collection. She actively supports the Kuenyehia Trust for Contemporary Art Prize and the Yaa Asantewaa Prize, prestigious awards recognizing artistic excellence and innovation among African artists.
The Artistic Council selects the works presented at the TOP CHARITY Auction, emphasizing diversity in media, formats, generations, and perspectives. The experts typically work over a 12-month cycle. The 2025 Artistic Council includes: Iwona Büchner-Grzesiak – owner of Polswiss Art Auction House, Boris Kudlička – set designer, architect, and curator, Kama Zboralska – director of the Warsaw Art Fair and creator of the Kompas Sztuki and Kompas Młodej Sztuki rankings, Omenaa Mensah – TOP CHARITY Auction’s initiator and President of OmenaArt Foundation, and a guest member: Isabel de Vasconcellos – curator and writer.
The OmenaArt Foundation is driven by a multidisciplinary team of art historians, experienced exhibition producers, and communications specialists. The team is led by Natalia Bradbury, a Polish curator and art advisor with over a decade of experience in both the Polish and international art scenes. Working between Poland and the UK, she has collaborated with prestigious galleries, art agents, and renowned curators on numerous exhibitions and auctions.
The Foundation also collaborates with an Expert Advisory Board, which guides its activities.
