The Artycapucines collection is a unique series of Louis Vuitton handbags, crafted in collaboration with esteemed artists. In 2023, the brand extended an invitation to a Polish artist for the first time for this project – Ewa Juszkiewicz, a painter whose works fetch record prices on the art market. Utilising modern 3D digital printing technology, Juszkiewicz transferred her 2021 painting, Ginger Locks, onto calfskin. Moreover, the handbag features a delicate string of pearls for adornment and houses a leather envelope inside, reminiscent of 18th-century love letters.

This sartorial masterpiece was produced in a limited run of 200 pieces, with merely two available in Poland, making it a sought-after item beyond the reach of Louis Vuitton stores, thereby possessing both collector’s and investment appeal. The auction winner will not only acquire a distinct Artycapucines model but also gain the opportunity to meet the artist, Ewa Juszkiewicz, and discuss the “behind-the- scenes” of the collaboration with the luxury brand.
