Wojciech Ejsmondt is a painter and abstractionist. His work, altraqa, is a large painting dominated by dark, irregular shapes and lines competing to fill the canvas. It is part of a series, which marks a new phase in the artist’s creative pursuit – an attempt to achieve equilibrium through an infinite array of forms and variations. It reflects an uncompromising transformation—a re-synthesis of Ejsmondt’s own emotional states and beliefs. As the artist notes, Using too many words to explain or describe this would compromise the very essence of the work’s existence.

Wojciech Ejsmondt (b. 1988) is an artist rooted in urban art. In 2021, he co-created the independent short documentary Family Lines, directed by Przemysław Wawrzyniak, which received a nomination for the Jan Machulski Award. He has completed numerous public commissions and participated in international street art festivals, including Street Art Fest Grenoble (2022), IBUG Festival in Germany (2022, 2023), and Tüneli Jam in Turin (2024). He has also collaborated with fellow abstractionists such as Kai Semor, Kenneth Letsoin, Tera Drop, Paulo Mucca, and Nikola Kori.
