Franciszek Szczepaniec specialises in classical figurative sculpture in wood and stone, as well as bronze casting. The Untitled sculpture presents his personal vision of beauty—conceived as a manifesto of female freedom. The composition seeks to capture an ephemeral sense of lightness, delicately balanced within a form that evokes quiet contemplation. The artist’s choice of linden wood—a material he frequently uses—imbues the work with warmth and calm, qualities he continually seeks in his artistic practice.
Franciszek Szczepaniec (b. 1998) is a sculptor. He began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2018 and graduated in 2023 from the Sculpture Department under Professor Roman Pietrzak. His work explores the human relationship with the surrounding world and its inherent beauty.
